About this guiding

We hear again and again that learning to fly fish is very complicated and that this is why some people don't even dare to start fly fishing. We think that's nonsense, because fly fishing really isn't a mystery and with an experienced fly fishing instructor at your side, you'll usually have understood the most important basics of fly fishing after just one day.

With the help of clear course equipment, simple practical exercises and many years of course experience, we will quickly prepare you for your life as a future fly fisher in our fly fishing course!

The hardest part of fly fishing is learning the casting technique.
That's why we practice throwing a fly rod extensively with you in our courses!

The location and course date of our individual fly fishing courses are always individually coordinated with you. The course duration is at least 6 hours - but can be extended a little if both parties are interested (guest and guide). Your guide will of course bring you all rental equipment etc. with you to the course. Upon arrangement, our guides may also be happy to conduct the course directly at your home. Please note that the throwing exercises are usually part of our individual courses. take place in a meadow - since most fly fishing beginners really don't want to land a huge fish right away.

About me: The FLYRUS fly fishing school was founded in Berlin in 2013 by two young students (Ole and Simon). Over the next few years, the fly fishing school continued to grow - and more and more full-blooded fly fishermen from all over the country joined the FLYRUS network, so that FLYRUS soon became the first fly fishing school E was which offered fly fishing courses and fly fishing guiding throughout Germany. And even though Ole and Simon are no longer quite as young, they have managed to build FLYRUS into the largest fly fishing school in Germany. There are now over 50 experienced fly fishing instructors from all over Germany guiding for FLYRUS (with expertise in a wide variety of subject areas - and for a wide variety of fish species).
