About this guiding
Spending 4 days on the water, no land in sight and good food, drinks, whale watching and awesome fights?
That's exactly what this tour is about. We venture from the beautiful port of Cala Figuera to the Banco, 60 (!) miles offshore.
On the way we will troll for Spearfish, Bonito, Little Thunny and Mahi Mahi. As we arrive the hunt for baits starts. If its night we use live squids for Swordfish (and Tuna) and if its day we use live mackerels for Tuna. While the big Rods are out there and we wait for the big one to come, we have the Opportunity to fish on the Bottom for Grouper, Red Scorpionfish, Big Sharks and many more.
The Opportunities are endless so sometime some Mahi schools stay under the boat for a few days and you can jig them, we leave our anchor and look for spots to Jig, Slowjig or Deepdrop for Grouper, Swordfish, Spotted Seabream and may more.
The fishing is unmatched out there but the special thing about this tour is the feeling that arises after 1 to 2 days out there. With no cellphone reception and no land in sight the constant drive and action we have in our lives is suddenly gone and we can relax on a beautiful boat watching the sunsets and sunrises, which are spectacular and have a nice drink while it is possible that the reel is gonna scream every second.

About me: I'm Jonas and together with Marek Freyer we founded Average Fishing Company. We both fish since we can think and even longer. Marek has been a Big game Charter Captain on Mallorca for 10 Years now, and I, Jonas, started as a Mate on his boat in 2021. Before that I guided in the North of Norway and the Baltic Sea. We love the vast mediterenean sea For its enormous rich waters and endless possibilities. The best fishery for us isn't necessarily a special Method, we love them all, but a special place in the Mediterranean Sea, the Banco! There you can find lots of Species and in good sizes. Staying there for a few days and fishing for Tuna by day and swordfish by night is the best thing in the world! We are driven by a strong fishing addiction and are always keen to get out there to catch the next big fish, or sometimes just something to eat. The Funside of going out there is one of the most important aspects for us and with our trusted boat and excellent tackle we have nothing to worry about and can enjoy the fulfillment of sharing a laugh and catching the fish of your dreams together!
