I have been fishing for predatory fish since I was 4 years old and have been actively fishing for predatory fish since 2008. The trigger here was fishing with Twister on the Delaware River. During my studies, I spent every free minute on my home Rhine in Düsseldorf. To save money, I started injecting my own rubbers in 2017. Perch and zander still fascinate me to this day, and I prefer to pursue these fish with fine tackle. Alexander Bartsch This is me, you can call me Alex. I first met Pascal in midsummer 2021. Born in 1985, I have been addicted to predatory fishing with artificial bait since around 1990. Back then, I spent almost every holiday with my family in the bungalow park “De Vlietlanden”. There I quickly met two absolute legends named Bertus Rozemeijer and Jan Eggers. I went fishing with them almost every day and had the pleasure of learning from the masters! A few years later, of course, I became interested in zander and perch, but I am and will stay at home in the polder for pike. I met Pascal while fishing on the Düsseldorf Rhine and he surprised me with an extremely catchy and top-quality product! Through Pascal, I also met Alex in mid-2022 as part of the Spro Freestyle training. Everything was right between us straight away :) Fortunately, Nils has always been my cousin and we have been fishing together since we could knot!! I met Pascal in the summer of 2022 on a fishing trip with Tim on our shared home water, the Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia. We got along well straight away and shortly afterwards we went to Groningen together to pre-fish for the Spro Freestyle tournament. Personally, I have devoted most of my time to polder fishing for pike in recent years. Short, quick underhand casts, bites in shallow water right in front of your feet and the tough drills are simply addictive. Over the last two years I have been fishing more and more for zander and perch and have learned to love it. I was particularly impressed by the diverse methods of bass fishing. In summer it is an absolute alternative to poldering for pike, as in my opinion this fishing is more like winter fishing. Oh yes, I also really enjoy fly fishing when I have time.
