3 day "Grand Slam" Fly fishing package

About this guiding

In the community of Dalarna in the middle of Sweden, nature offers unique opportunities for you to experience three different fishing adventure in one trip.
In a three days adventure included a mix of dry fly fishing in flowing and still waters for Brown trout, Arctic char and Grayling, plus also Pike fly fishing ensures that this journey is never dull. The variation of both the fisheries and the environment form a unique experience. All wrapped up in a unique accommodation in exotic and historic surroundings in the outback included wooden fire sauna.

Program:
Day 1:
Meeting up with the guide in the afternoon in central Älvdalen at Anglerman´s office. Guided transfer from there out in the outback to the historical 1600 century village about 600 meters above sea level with a magic view and your accommodation for the stay.
Mutual dinner in historical scenery where your guide brief you about the surroundings, culture and history and fishing to come.

Day 2:
Breakfast package for you to take from in the cabin, followed by transfer 09.00 hours for dry fly fishing with guide in local river for Grayling and Trout. A break for outdoor lunch near the river bank is cooked by the guide. At 14.00 hour transfer back to cabin for some private time for resting, sightseeing and dinner before departure again at 18.00 hours. Evening fly fishing in local lake for arctic char and trout from banks, boats or floating belly. Fishing until 23.00 hour or when darkness arrives, and then transfer back to accommodation.

Day 3:
Breakfast package for you to take from in the cabin. Transfer in the morning out by the guide to today's water with specialization "Pike on the fly." Fishing is done from boats (2 guests in each boat) or floating belly as desired. We fish all day and the guide prepares lunch and coffee for the group during the day. At afternoon we head back to the accommodation where you will have time for Wooden fire sauna and shower, followed by a nice dinner and relaxing time. Possibility to dry fly fish at the local river again on river if wanted in the evening.

Day 4:
Breakfast and check out before departure.

Recommended Equipment:
- 3-6” rods single hand
- Floating lines
- Waders and Boots
- Wading stick if required.
- Protection polaroid glasses and a cap
- Landing Net
- 7-10” rod for pike fishing
- Longer pincer for releasing the pikes
- Adapted tippets for pike fly fishing
