Your boat for the day will be a 19’ Nitro Z19 Bass boat that runs on a 200 HP Mercury engine and can reach a most impressive speed of 75 knots. It’s also equipped with a fishfinder device, to make sure you never lose track of your catch. There’s plenty of room aboard for you to bring a pair of friends along for the ride if you want to.

As for the fishing itself, Santa Clara is home to some fantastic Largemouth Bass fishing. Capt. Joaquim recommends the practice of catch and release as he is devoted to protecting the fishery for future generations.

He will provide you with the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for the trip, along with the required fishing licenses. All you need to bring is a pair of sunglasses, a camera to record your adventure, and you’re ready for a time to remember!

A passionate black bass fisherman since his early years, he began in 2012 to develop tourist fishing for black bass in the Santa Clara a Velha Dam, Founding the company Basscatchinsantaclara. He currently carries out his fishing trips on a professional fishing vessel for black bass (Nitro Z19, equipped with state-of-the-art Humminbird probes and a Mercury pro xs 200CV engine).

Had a great time on the lake,Ricardo really knows he's water. The quality of the fish is excellent and the boat very well equiped! The fishing was great! the fish were acting finniky wich is something you just cant controll. But I like a challenge 💪definatly recommended to go check it out I know I will be going back.
