About this guiding
The Tiken is considered a very interesting body of water for predator anglers in southern Sweden/Småland. The lake is about 6 km² great. There are many small islands scattered throughout the lake. The predatory fish stocks of zander, pike and perch are great. Due to the very high white fish populations and the very good water quality, the predators grow to considerable size.
Several pairs of ospreys make their home here. With a bit of luck, the angler can watch in the summer as the parents teach the boys how to hunt fish. In addition, wild minks still live on the Tiken and with a bit of luck you might see the king of the forest - the moose — stand on the shore or swim through the lake.
The small river flows through the lake. Brakneån, which flows directly into the Baltic Sea. The pike-perch are at home in the deeper riverbed of the Brakneån. Here it is advisable to offer the bait a little deeper. Classic jigging is one of the most successful methods here. We also fish vertically a lot on the Tiken.Pike up to 1.20 m and zander up to 1, 00 m have already been caught in Tiken and the lake is therefore rightly one of the XXL waters in southern Sweden - especially because there is no intensive fishing here by professional fishermen or the like. takes place.
