The Zwarte Water is one of my favorite waters. The canal is a branch of the IJssel and leads in a large arc over the Zwarte Meer into the IJsselmeer. The water is on average about 80m wide and 4-5m deep. Through the locks and mouth of the Vechte, the water from the canal flows slowly towards the Zwarte Meer. Nestled in green nature, the Zwarte Water offers a variety of options and fish species. Whether jigging for zander, spin fishing for perch or trolling for pike... This water can do it all.
